SOLAR SECURE PROCESS

One of our solar consultants will walk you through all of your options, present you with a proposal that includes your custom system design and production estimates, and answer all of your questions. You will also receive accurate forecasts of your solar payback and ROI. We’ll help you understand all of your options so you can make the decision that is best for you.

All Solar Secure customers are assigned a Project Lead, who will be your main point of contact throughout your project. Your project lead will schedule a kick-off call to officially start your project and will be responsible for acquiring permits, filing applications for rebates/grants, completing structural reviews any other necessary paperwork. Your project lead is responsible for making the entire experience easy and carefree for you.

Our team will process grid connection approval with your distributor on behalf of you. It generally takes 1-2 Weeks (sometimes more if technical assessment required). Meanwhile, We request you to contact Your Energy Retailer to discuss about FITs. Please note you may lose your old FITs with new installation or not eligible for a FIT.

Once all paperwork and permitting is completed, Team of CEC accredited installers and electricians install your system. Depending on your system size, your installation could take from 4-5 hours (for a small system) to a couple of days (longer for very large or unusual systems). If required, Local inspectors may verify that your system meets Australian Standards & local requirements; your Project Lead will coordinate all required inspections over the next couple weeks after your system installation.

Once your installation is complete, you are required to contact your energy retailer for final smart meter changeover. We recommend you to discuss FITs with your retailer. Once your net meter will be installed (if it hasn’t been already) and you will be ready to power up your system!
